System has two levels of security; Network Logon and Menu security for the Vintners Advantage Software. Users can be associated to sub-modules and applications within the software. Users do not see software options that they do not have access to.
Information in Vintage Advantage is shared by whole organization. Menu security ensures that only authorized users are able to process transactions.
All data within the system can only be changed via a transaction.
If the volumes have been incorrectly entered, a new transaction must be done to correct the volume. Both of these transactions remain in the history.
If the incorrect transaction has made the composition of the wine incorrect the system has an override facility for both costs and compositions. These overrides are kept in an audit file.
